Questions about Oleander-4X
Yes, safety is our number one priority, so all of our products go through rigorous testing for quality, purity and potency at independent, 3rd-party facilities. Oleander 4X is available as an over-the-counter (OTC) homeopathic remedy prepared according to the HPUS monograph.
There is a lot of misinformation and disinformation on the Internet. It is true that consuming raw parts of the Nerium oleander bush can be toxic. Plant material should never be consumed. No one should ever try to make their own extract from plant material.
Oleander 4X, however, is made by an extraction process according to the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia. The process leaves behind much of the plant material and results in a highly diluted yet very effective immune support product. Thousands of bottles have been sold and consumed without negative incidents. Moreover, we have conducted in vivo safety studies on Oleander 4X and on other extracts containing oleandrin, a key active component of Oleander 4X. No adverse events were observed when taken as directed.
Oleander 4X only contains: water, alcohol, and the Oleander extract at the 4X concentration as defined by HPUS. Then, we add all natural orange flavoring from real oranges. There is nothing else in the formulation.
The orange flavoring in this product contains natural flavoring derived from blood oranges and does not contain high-fructose corn syrup, preservatives, artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.
Yes, there is anecdotal evidence that shows Oleander-4X does show anti-inflammatory improvements.
No. Oleander 4X is not intended to replace supplements. It is used to help maintain a healthy immune system and can be taken with other supplements used to support the immune system.
Each immune support product operates through its own combination of mechanisms in the body. Oleander 4X focuses on supporting the innate immune system.
Sublingual (under the tongue) administration allows the Oleander-4X extract to enter the body quickly and efficiently. For this product, the suggested dose is 1.0 mL (full dropper), held under the tongue for one minute or more, four times per day (every 4-6 hours) not to exceed 4.0 ml in 24 hours. Each 30 ml bottle contains approximately 4 daily doses for a recommended total of seven days. After seven days, two doses (approximately 12 hours apart), may be incorporated into a daily regimen for beneficial effects (each bottle is a two-weeks’ supply.
Oleander-4X may be taken on a full or empty stomach because it is administered and absorbed sublingually. After taking a dose, we recommend waiting a few minutes before eating or drinking.
Oleander-4X is not FDA evaluated. Oleander-4X strictly adheres to the standards of the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS). This product was manufactured in a FDA-registered facility.
No allergic reactions have been observed in clinical trials with oleandrin, even when taken at higher doses.
Research in this area has not been conducted for the product. So, we cannot recommend its use in people with an overactive immune system.
Yes. Oleander 4X can be taken with common vitamins such as Elderberry, Vitamin D, or Thyroid medication.
Yes. People undergoing chemotherapy are often immunocompromised. Oleander 4X would help support their immune system.
You can start taking Oleander-4X at anytime. Oleander-4X can provide temporary relief of cold symptoms, fever, aches, joint pain, immune support, better sleep and more.

While we do not like using plastic in our products, we found that the plastic dropper does much better in shipping. The plastic dropper is etched to show the increments and where one ml is would be on the dropper. Why do we use etched droppers? Proposition 65 requires businesses to warn Californians before exposing them to chemicals in the consumer products they buy and use. Basically, all ink droppers would require a warning. We believe that etched droppers are safer for you and for the environment.
The bottle has a child-safety lock. You need to push down into the bottle, and while the dropper is pushed down, turn at least 1/4 turn to 1/2 a turn to release the child lock.
A 30 mL bottle is sufficient for two weeks of twice per day dosing or one week of four-times per day dosing. Twice per day dosing is recommended for maintenance dosing, and four-times per day dosing for 5-7 days is recommended when feeling unwell.

Dr. Jagan Sastry is a Professor in the Department of immunology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. His group’s research in the broad areas of viral oncology and immunology focuses on understanding the biology, pathology and genetics of two viral diseases impacting human health: HPV-associated cancers and HIV-induced AIDS. The overall goal of the research is to develop procedures and reagents for prediction, treatment as well as prevention. Over the past 25+ years Dr. Sastry has lead and/or participated in investigator initiated as well as team-oriented research programs supported by federal, state, industry, and philanthropy funds. Dr. Sastry’s group has been testing the anti-HIV activity of various proprietary compounds from the oleander plant extract and showed for the first time anti-HIV activity of the Nerium oleander plant extract and demonstrated that this activity is related to the cardiac glycoside oleandrin with a unique mechanism of anti-HIV activity.
Peiying Yang is an Associate Professor at Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation and Integrative Medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her undergraduate and master degree in Pharmacy from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Following a year and half of study in Department of Pharmaceutical Science at University of Kentucky, College of Pharmacy, she completed her Doctor degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Maine. Over the past several years, Dr. Yang has been engaged in translational research of traditional Chinese medicine, natural products (oleander, toad skin, sweet gum, sweet leaf tea), and bioactive lipids (omega-3 and omega-6 metabolism) in cancer treatment and prevention through both preclinical and clinical evaluations. Additionally, more recently her laboratory has engaged in understanding the molecular mechanisms of added sugar in breast tumorigenesis. Several of her studies on natural products and cancer treatment and prevention have been funded by NIH or NCI as R01 or R21 grants. These include studies of the chemopreventive effect of fish oil on lung and colon cancer. She also serves as a key co-investigator on an NCI funded grant studying the role of Traditional Chinese Medicine in cancer treatment and symptom management. She has published more than 100 peer reviewed articles and currently serves a board member of Society of Integrative Oncology (SIO), a member of Executive Committee of SIO, and a member of American Botanical Council as well as an Associate Editor for the journal of Integrative Cancer Therapies.
